Andrew Carnegie was born on November 25, 1835 in Dunfermline,UK. Before Carnegie owning his materials, ships or railroadsh; he use to work in a factory at $1.20. Later on he continued working at railroads but decided to work on other interest in 1865, he gave his time to the steel industry.
Before starting his own company Andrew Carnegie worked along side Mr.Morgan. Carnegie was inspired to create railroads as transportation by his old mentor Tom Scott. One of his famous creations was his famous steal bridge. At first people were uncertain if the bridge was able to hold a ton of weight. Carnegie decided to use a elephant to cross the bridge to prove to the audience that the bridge was safe.
After Andrew Carnegie reached the age of 65 he decided to sell his company to J.P Morgan. He decided to use his good health and power to help other people in the community. Carnegie net worth was based on $372 billion dollars during that time period.
