Jacob and his children arrived in Egypt so they would be with Joseph. Joseph was second in command and he stopped famine for the people in Egypt.
Working in the fields
They made the Jews slaves and forced them to do backbreaking labour and build city's for pharaoh. Even with all this work the Jews, they were still multiplying so pharaoh tells 2 Jewish midwives to kill all the Jewish new-born babies and throw them into the Nile.
Jocheved, the wife of the Levite Amram, gives birth to a boy and hides him for as long as she can. Jocheved builds a cradle and his sister Miram watchs over him. Pharaoh's daughter was bathing in the Nile, saw the baby and called him Moshe. Miram tells the princess that Joheved can nurse him wihich the prinvess agrees
Flee to the sea
When Moshe becomes a man, he see the hardship of the jewish slaves and he go to work in the field. He sees a burning bush which is G-d telling him to go back and save the slaves
Moshes go to the Pharoah and ask for the slaves to be fleed. He says no so G-d sends the 10 plagues to try and change Pharoah mind
When Pharaoh first born son dies, He allows the Jews to leave. In their rush to leave their bread did not have to rise. Pharaoh changes his mind and chases them to the sea where Moshes split the sea for the Jews while the Egyptians drown in the water,
