Hi, my name is John Dalton. I was born in Eaglesfield, England on September 6, 1766
I'm a chemist that is credited for pioneering modern atomic theory. I also was the first to study color blindness. In around 1803
I showed everyone my information in around 1808
2 of my most famous works are, The Law of Partial Pressures and Dalton Atomic Theory
I developed methods to calculate atomic weights and structures which is known as Dalton's Atomic Theory
Two of my most famous works were ¨New System of Chemical Philosophy¨ and ¨Meteorological Observations and Essays¨
In Chemistry this means that in a mixture of non-reacting gases, the total pressure exerted is equal to the sum of the partial pressures of the individual gas
