  • In Athens, the women's role is to keep the house. They were not citizens.
  • In Sparta, the women's role is to keep the house and do the daily business if the man is unable to. They were also trained in military
  • In Sparta, the men at the age of 7 would start military training until 20. At 20 they would return home and become part of the Spartan army.
  • In Athens, the men's role was to take care of the work and talk business in the public square.
  • In Sparta, if a child was born the child must be named a healthy baby or a unhealthy baby. Unhealthy children would be left on the side of a hill to die. 
  • In Athens, all children were accepted.
