The British government were taxing the colonists because they were not getting a lot of money. The coloniss said "no" because they thoughtn it was unfair. The colonists had a lot of violent protests because they destroyed the tax xollectors house.
Give me more money!
The phrase "No taxation without representation" meant that colonists were not going to pay taxes because it had no sign of working
NO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION!!!
The Boston Massacre was when a protest between the colonists and the British soldiers happened and the soldiers started shooting the colonists after one of the colonists made an allegation to one of the soldiers which made the soldiers really mad. The Boston Tea Party was when a dozen of colonists dressed as Native Americans boarded a British ship carrying tea. The colonists then took the boxes that carried the tea and threw them overboard.
War eventually began between the colonists and the British soldiers because the colonists wanted independence since Britain kept asking and annoying the colonists for so many things. Britain of course saw that the colonists were out of control since they destroyed the tax collectors house and they destroyed the tea on the ship.
