John Adams took bribes from people, and put them into political positions, and some of them were not experienced in the job they received .
1836 Trail of Tears
The Tariff of Abominations wasn't actually named that. It was a tariff that greatly increased the tax on imported goods, and South Carolina threatened to secede because of it.
Because of the Tariff of Abomination South Carolina attempted to nullify the tariff, but officials in the government didn't like this decision and they didn't allow them to. Because of this South Carolina threatened to secede.
This event occurred in 1838 when president Jackson decided to ignore that of the Supreme Court's decision and gave the Natives 2 years to leave, and when that time came he used the army to force them to leave.
