Storyboard Text

  • Sir yes sir, we will bring the American Ships to a haul!
  • MEN, get the boats ready and take down any merchant ships that seek to cross into our ocean!
  • The cartoon shown in the box to the left is the German commander telling his captains to keep going with destroying American merchant ships. Germany promised to stop the unrestricted submarine warfare. Teddy Roosevelt wanted freedom of the seas because he wanted to keep America's trade prospering. One of the reasons Teddy Roosevelt declared war was because Germany broke the pledge they made that they would stop the unrestricted submarine warfare and throughout it all there were many American casualties.
  • Come on Zimmermann think! I have an idea, I can send a message to Mexico in ask for their support. In return I will offer them the United States territories they lost in the Spanish American war. No one will see this coming.
