What are nutrients?
The 6 essential nutrients are water, carbohydrates, protein, fat, vitamins and minerals.
I've never heard of those!
Nutrients help the body to keep active and healthy. The body needs all 6 of these nutrients everyday.
Oh, I get it. How do you get these so called nutrients?
Well, you can find them in your common food choices. Protein's can be found in meats, fats can be found in butter and oil, vitamins in fruits, minerals in beans and nuts, carbohydrates in pastas and breads and water obviously in water!
