Principle #1: Genetic Variation: There are two jack rabbits, one is white and one is brown witch helps camouflage with the ground but the white jack rabbit stands out to the hungry eagle searching for food.
Principle #2: Differential survival & reproduction: The rabbits made both brown and white jack rabbits. The better variation is the brown rabbits because they blend in to the ground and they can hide from the hungry eagles.
Principle #3: Overproduction & the Struggle for Existence: The brown rabbits have a higher fitness because they can hide and camouflage in the brown dirt. But due to the white of the other jackrabbits, they have a lower fitness because they stand out in the brown dirt to the hungry animals.
Principal #4: Changes in the gene pool: The white brown jackrabbits overpowered the population because thy had a higher fitness. Now the most of the population is all brown because of their environment. The white jackrabbits are not useful to the environment because they have a lower fitness because of their fur.
