  • Creon will announce to the public he will not bury Polyneices! I will bury him myself.
  • Antigone is informed that Creon does not want to bury the body of Poleneices.
  • Antigone vs Creon- Prologue
  • Find me the man or woman who did this crime! I will have him killed.
  • A sentry informs Creon (Antigone) that someone has buried Polyneices.
  • Antigone vs Creon- Scene I
  • Yes, my king...
  • Do you confess to your crimes? I will sentence you to death.
  • Antigone confesses to her crimes. Creon sends her to her death along with her sister.
  • I do. I deny and regret nothing.
  • Antigone vs Creon- Scene II
  • I object! Antigone will be locked up far away and will pay for her crimes.
  • Haimon advises his father, Creon, to not kill Antigone. Creon objects
  • Killing Antigone would be a mistake...
  • Antigone vs Creon- Scene III
  • Creon tells Antigone that mournful speeches are useless, and that he does not care if she lives or dies.
  • Take me to my death! If Creon is guilty of my murder, he should meet the same fate.
  • Antigone vs Creon- Scene IV
  • Take her to the vault, now!
  • I am a fool! Antigone has killed herself, and so has my son, and so has my wife...
  • Antigone hangs herself in her vault, which leads to Haimon's death, which leads to the death of Creon's wife.
