Luke finds out that the government had made third children illegal and now he cannot go outside because the woods he played in were being cut down by the government.
Luke tries to make bread and cleans up the kitchen and that is when he saw someone by in the sports family's window. This shows the rising action because it is slowly leading to the conflict
Luke sneaks out of his house and tries to get in to the sports family's house and wants to see who was that person that looked out from the window. This is the climax because Luke is eventually friends with the girl because she is a third child.
Jen goes to a rally and gets shot with 40 other kids. This is the falling action because this supports the theme because Luke has to overcome Jen's death.
Luke gets a new/fake I.D. and goes to a new school far away from his home. This is the conclusion because the conflict come to an end.
The theme is challenges in society is difficult to overcome.
