What do you want to be when you grow up John?
I want to be an engineerer at NASA.
Well in order to be an engineer at NASA you have to know about hydrogen, and hydrogens usage.
Huh? Hydrogen? What's hydrogen?
You see, Hydrogen is a flammable, colorless and odorless element which is the most abundant in the entire universe. Yet, hydrogen doesn't appear in a pure or true form so it has to be extracted from chemical compounds, such as H20.
Ok, but what does that have to do with me working at NASA?
Well, NASA has been working with hydrogen gas as rocket fuel to deliver cargo and crew to space; along with other futuristic and efficent purposes as well.
Wow, that's really impressive. But, is hydrogen important? Why is hydrogen important?
Hydrogen is important. Hydrogen is important because fossil fuels such as coal, petroleum, and gasoline are damaging the earth. Because of this, we have to use a clean and renewable natural resource, such as hydrogen. Hydrogen is a cheap and efficient natural resource. It is a future leading energy source that can produce water, heat, and electricity. It can also reduce air pollution which is a major factor in global warming.
Oh I get it, fossil fuels are damaging the earth; so we need to use natural resources such as hydrogen to help clean and protect the environment against pollution that comes from within those fossil fuels.
Yes, exactly; That's why we must act fast and use hydrogen for a better and cleaner tomorrow!
