  • Animals/Plants
  • Atmospheric carbon comes from burning of fossil fuels and volcanoes
  • C02

  • ATMOSPHERE
  • Hi guys my name is RobbieWhat in the world how did I get here?Oh no not this Carbon stuff again!!
  • Ground
  • In the atmosphere carbon exists in the form of carbon dioxide gas C02. CO2 travels from the atmosphere to the plants in the process of photosynthesis. The plants use the energy of the sun to form glucose and oxygen from carbon dioxide and water.

  • CO2
  • PLANTS
  • CO2 travels from plants to animals because herbivores consume plants so this makes it possible for a small amount of plant carbon to be consumed.
  • Animals
  • Why does the animal keep eating my plants!CO2 travels from plants to animals through the food chain
  • Carnivores then consume herbivores which then transfers CO2 to them
  • Animals transfer CO2 into the atmosphere by releasing it through the process of respiration.

  • ATMOSPHERE
  • Animals take in oxygen and release CO2 when they exhale
  • Carbon goes from plants and animals into the ground through animal droppings or when they die. This shows the process of how CO2 moves from the biosphere to the geosphere

  • CO2
  • Ground
  • When we humans burn fossil fuels to power everything we have the carbon enters the atmosphere as CO2
  • Heating our homes, driving cars, and powering factories are all ways that humans add CO2 into the atmosphere
