  • The sacrament of confirmation celebrates the life of faith in Jesus. Once, anointed with you become one of Jesus’ disciples to spread and teach the Word of God. In confirmation, we receive the Holy Spirit by being anointed with the blessed oil.
  • The symbols and rituals of confirmation are: laying of the hands, anointing with oil, words and the Holy Spirit. the words spoken by the bishop are: “Be sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit”
  • Someone would want to participate in the sacrament of confirmation because you receive the blessing of the Holy Spirit. The benefits of confirmation are continuing our catholic faith and taking part of being the Lord’s children.
