Oh my, what an awful cut! For now, I'll get you a band-aid and mitosis will do the rest.
While in science class I was just working my very hardest. Soon enough the bell rang and it was time for the gym.
Well, mitosis contains prophase, metaphase, anaphase, telophase, and cytokinesis. Mitosis can be mixed up with meiosis but, mitosis has more to do with the growth and repair of the body.
While in the gym I was knocked over and got a cut on my hand! I was sent to the nurse's office ASAP
Mitosis is a type of cell division and it's really important for your cells to divide because well if they didn't divide you wouldn't be growing and that cut on your arm wouldn't be in the process of healing. And if you your cells don't divide to make more cells than you won't grow.
I arrived at the nurse and she told me something about how my cut would soon heal. And I wasn't exactly sure what she meant.
Mitosis is creating two identical cells. Unlike meiosis. You want to make sure you're creating cells identical to the ones lost of the cut on your arm. Most of these functions are happening in interphase which isn't a phase usually mentioned when talking about meiosis or mitosis.
The nurse continued to explain to me everything about mitosis.
The nurse told me everything I needed to know about mitosis and what it does
And in the end, I learned about how my cut would soon heal and how mitosis is something we need in our everyday life.
