The Proclamation of 1763 was issued October 7, 1763 by King George III. The proclamation prohibited settlers from crossing west of the Appalachian Mountains in order to prevent conflict between the settlers and the Native Americans.
The Stamp Act was passed by the British Parliament on March 22, 1765. This new tax imposed that colonists had to pay a tax for every piece of paper they used. Since the colonists were so upset soon the Sons of Liberty, a mob, formed.

The Quartering Act was on May 3, 1765. The Quartering Act meant that the colonists had to pay for the housing, necessities, and any other needs for the soldiers.
The Boston Massacre was in 1770. There were many problems prior to the riot. The Boston Patriots were angry that a innocent 11 year old boy was killed by Ebeneezer prior to the Boston Massacre.
The Boston Tea Party was in 1773. The Boston Tea Party was when the colonists threw off pounds and pounds of tea into the Boston Harbor. Because of how badly the colonists acted the British created a new act called the coercive acts. The rules were so harsh they renamed it the intolerable acts.
The Intolerable Acts were laws pasted by the British Parliament in 1774. They were originally made the coercive acts but they were so harsh that they change it to the intolerable acts. These laws were made to punish the colonists for their actions in the Boston Tea Party.
