- Massachusetts has decided to make farmers pay taxes in gold and silver. When the farmers can’t pay the taxes, they are kicked off of their farms.

- I can’t believe we have to pay taxes with silver and gold!

- I can’t believe we don’t have a real army. We couldn’t even defeat some farmers!
- The AOC could not tax citizens, and therefore had no money for a proper army. That is why they couldn’t stop Shays’ Rebellion.
- I told you we should’ve added taxes! Then we would have an army.
