Storyboard Text

  • "Argus" by Homer//Sophia Cervantes
  • Odysseus and Eumaeus are walking towards the palace. Odysseus's old dog, Argus, is outside it.
  • Odysseus recognizes Argus as the dog he had before he left. He cries but quickly hides it from Eumaeus.
  • Eumaeus begins to tell Odysseus how good of a dog Argus was before he left. He tells Odysseus that the dogs owner was killed while overseas.
  • Eumaeus explains to Odysseus why the dog isn't cared for. The servants Odysseus had weren't ordered by anyone to look after the dog, so they didn't do so.
  • Odysseus and Eumaeus walk into Odysseus's old home. Argus dies after finally seeing Odysseus again after 20 years.
