  • Jack and Moniek were realising that most of the prisoners were Hungarian when they circled around them. Two prisoners grabbed ahold of Jack and the rest start to beat Moniek. Jack realizes that this is because of the Potato Incident.
  • At this point Jack knows there is a Typhus outbreak in this camp. Jack is starting to lose the strength he built up at the last camp due to the lack of food. He starting to lose hope in surviving.
  • Jack wakes to no Kapo and sees prisoners struggling to open the gate. He helps them and eventually they get it open and rush out to see there are no guards. THE WAR IS OVER!!!!
  • Jack finds Moniek and they rejoice. Jack lets himself cry for the first time in three years. The heal up quickly and liberate themselves instead of waiting for the Russians.
