  • This part of the scene signifies the repetition of how Walter gets ready for work, he does not like the repetitiveness of this and wants todo the the investment
  • “DAMN MY EGGS-DAMN ALL THE THAT EVER WAS!”
  • This is the part right after Mama received the check for $10,000. Walter moves in to the room and asks Mama to look at the papers for the liqour store investment.
  • "Whats dangerous?"
  • "When a man goes outside his home to look for peace."
  • Prometheus is a Greek god who steals things from the rich and distributes them to the poor to try to make their life better. This can be relate able to this story because Walter tries his very best for his family to be happy.

  • Mama finally trusts Walter with the idea to invest in the liquor store. And in doing so, she also trusts him to put $3,000 in the bank for Beneatha's schooling
  • "I want you to take this money and take three thousand for Beneatha's medical schooling. The rest you put into a checking account-with your name on it"
  • Mr. Lindner visits the Youngers to propose the action of Clybourne park buying the house from the Youngers with extra money. This makes Walter and the Youngers very upset
  • "You cant just force people to change their hearts son."
  • The end of the book is where the Youngers move into their house in Clybourne Park. They are a ess right now but they are determined and they will work hard to keep this family a float.
