  • In the year 1400, Johannes Gutenburg was born to Friele Zur Laden and Elase Wyrich. Little did they now that there son would have a big impact on the modern world.
  • We can call him Johannes!
  • Johannes has always been interested in reading an metallurgy!
  • This is an amazing book! It gave me a good idea for something to make out of metal!
  • Bibles or any other type of books used to have to be hand written by monks.
  • 2 bibles down, one more to go and then another one, and then another one, and then another one...
  • So... in Johannes workshop he decided to do something,invent the printing press!
  • With Johannes skill and interest in metallurgy he was able to create the printing press! Little did Johannes know, the printing press would soon become a very important part of the modern society!
  • One of the most important things that Johannes printed is the Gutenburg bible, a 42 line bible! Within 50 years the Gutenburg bible had spread very quickly throughout Europe!
