  • Yes I believe we can do that and that’s why I give students content or trigger warnings let students know ahead of time what they will encounter 
  • and for the reason certain students may be uncomfortable with seeing stuff like that
  • That would really make me feel less traumatize thank you so much professor
  • I can probably find a video that explains how to dissect a cat that doesn’t show an actual cat being dissected
  • Excuse Me Professor Harrison can I talk to you privately? 
  • Scene 3
  • As you have seen here Professor Harrison gave a trigger warning when he explain what the students would be watching in the video and by doing this he alerted the student in which she was able to speak with the professor privately and have another option regarding the video so that she can still participate in the lesson.
  • Now everyone pair up and I’ll give you each a cat
  • that sounds wicked brah
  • Got it professor, hey Johnny want to be my partner 
  • I’m uncomfortable dissecting cats because I use to have a pet cat named Mittens who passed away recently so seeing a dead cat brings up an uncomfortable experience.
  • So what seems to be the matter?
  • Great thanks professor  
  • Well that’s fine we have other alternatives you can do like a virtual simulation

  • Once again the professor used a trigger warning to inform the students as she stated that they will be dissecting cats and opening them up, looking at their insides. Even though thisstudent did not have to dissect the cat she was given the alternative to theassignment given so she can still learn what was being taught in class. Be ahero not a zero support the use of trigger warnings in college classes.
