Bletchley Park, 1970
The Enigma machine was used in World War II to encode and relay German messages.
The Jewish people were being worked to death and separated from their families.
If we could intercept the Enigma messages, we could liberate many Jewish prisoners.
I am being arrested just for being Jewish. How unfair!
Bletchley Park, 1939
We created the Bombe, a computer made for deciphering Enigma communications
My coworkers and I were trying our best to decode Enigma, but we were at a stopping point.
We needed new ideas, ones as advanced as the German Enigma.
We decided to get help from the U.S., because the Bombe needed more people to work on it.
Let's get started!
American codebreakers were willing to help us decode Enigma and we flew to America to work with them.
