Storyboard Text

  • Bletchley Park, 1970
  • The Enigma machine was used in World War II to encode and relay German messages.
  • The Jewish people were being worked to death and separated from their families.
  • If we could intercept the Enigma messages, we could liberate many Jewish prisoners.
  • I am being arrested just for being Jewish. How unfair!
  • Heil Hitler!
  • Bletchley Park, 1939
  • We created the Bombe, a computer made for deciphering Enigma communications
  • My coworkers and I were trying our best to decode Enigma, but we were at a stopping point.
  • We needed new ideas, ones as advanced as the German Enigma.
  • We decided to get help from the U.S., because the Bombe needed more people to work on it.
  • Let's get started!
  • America, 1942
  • American codebreakers were willing to help us decode Enigma and we flew to America to work with them.
