  • After hearing about War, Soldier Edward wrote a letter to his family.
  • Dear family, I hate to write this letter to you, but the Americans are going to fight War against the British very soon. I really don't want to do this, but it is my job. I sent you a letter earlier informing you that everything would be fine and there would be no War, but this came out of the blue. I just want peace, and I know you do too. What I really want to say is...(sigh)...I love you all so much. Thank you for everything you all have done. And...goodbye if I don't come back. -Edward
