Storyboard Text

  • Today is my Big Day! It's my interview to become a Youth Advocate for the HHS Youth Court
  • Woah! Thats cool! what does that mean?
  • Well, a Youth Advocate is kind of like a defense attorney. I would represent the interest of the respondent and help advocate for sanctions that will benefit not hurt them!
  • Oh wow! Neat! What kind of responsibilities do you have?
  • There are alot of responsibilities! I interview the respondent before the hearing, prepare and deliver an opening/closing statement and cross-examine all witnesses! I also help the respondent feel respected and listened to during the hearing, not frustrated and ignored!
