- Right now Smiley Bone, Fone Bone, and Phoney Bone are lost in the mountains after they were run out of Boneville their hometown. This is Phoney Bone's fault because he ruined the town while trying to set up a town picnic so people would vote for him to be mayor.
- SAME!
- That was close
- I MISSED!
- Phoney, Smiley, and Fone Bone get split up because of the large swarm of flies knock them off the cliff.

- What is that?
- After the bones were split up, Phoney was spotted by the Rat creatures in their territory. The rats decided to follow Phoney but lost track of him. Since Phoney and Fone look similar, the rat creatures ended up finding Fone. They planned to eat Fone but the Red Dragon saved him.
- You can't eat guys me
- Just go away please
- We aren't leaving anytime soon
- You rats better run before things get ugly
- Ever sine the rat creatures were scared off the by the Red Dragon, they started to follow Fone around trying to eat him. Fone has gotten close, but hasn't been eaten yet or caught by the rat creatures.
- GOSH DARN IT. We can't do anything right
- Fone Bone finds a girl named Thorn. Thorn helps Fone around the valley and helps him stay safe from the rat creatures. If Fone hadn't found Thorn he would not have lived in the Valley because of all the creatures and situations that he ran into. Thorn also leads Fone to meet Grandma Ben, Thorns Grandma who saves them in many scary situations.
- Grandma Ben, Thorn, and Fone are under attack of the rat creatures because they are still mad at Fone for being in their territory. Thorn is not budging to give the Rats Fone, because if she does, the rats will eat Fone. Fone is saying to let him go, Thorn still won't let him go and probably never will.
