  • ACT: 1 SCENE 5
  • AAAGGGHHH!
  • Mr. Frank is introducing his family to the Van Daans. The Franks invited the Van Daans to stay with them for a while. At first though, the two families can't seem to all get along.
  • ACT: 2 SCENE 1
  • Happy New Years!!
  • In this scene, Mr. Dussel is introduced to the story. Mr. Dussel is unpacking while Anne explains what goes on in the Annex. Anne and Mr. Dussel are instructed to share a room together. Mr. Dussel is friends with Miep's Dirk.
  • ACT: 2 SCENE 3
  • AGH!
  • MR. VAN DAAN!
  • As Peter goes to turn off the lamp, standing on a chair, he falls off and crashes to the ground. A little while after everyone hears movement down stairs. Mrs. Van Daan automatically thinks it's the Green Police and they're here to take them to the concentration camp.
  • ACT: 2 SCENE 4
  • I'm afraid we'll going to have to leave.
  • Mr. Kraler and Miep bring a warm greeting to the Van Daans, Franks, and Mr. Dussel. Miep has brought a cake for everyone to share. Anne states her input in the conversation about the war and thinks that there's no use talking about misery when you're already miserable yourself. Anne rushes off to her room and  Peter is kind enough to bring her cake.
  • Miep! Mr. Kraler!
  • Mr. Dussel catches Mr. Van Daan stealing bread. Mr. Van Daan used to blame rats as a cover up instead of exposing himself. Mr. Dussel grabs and strangles Mr. Van Daan when everyone else is trying to separate the two.
  • Everyone is in sorrow because they have been found by the Green Police. Mr. Dussel was the one who went downstairs because he believed Miep was calling the phone. He comes back upstairs and everyone knows it's over for them. So it seems their stay is over.
