  •      Myth of Romonlus and Remus
  • Etruscan Influence of Engineering
  • Around 700 B.C.E. the village that had become Rome was built by a Latin tribe. This city that they formed had spread over the seen hills. Romes culture was greatly influenced by Etruscans their neighbors. Another great influence on Rome were the Greeks. They had traded with them and adapted their culture. 
  • Etruscan Influence of Sports 
  • THe story of Romonus and Remus. Long ago their uncle had put them in a river. They had both been put in a cradle and floated down tribe river.
  • Greek Influence of Architecture
  • They were very good builders because they learned from being Etruscans. They learned the science behind engineering for building. Like arches he came up with that supported a half circle wedge stone.
  • Greek Influence on Writing, Art, and Religion
  • They had a huge influence on them with sports. THey gave them the idea for theatres that people could sit in and was tech games go on. One of the events that took place were chariot racing, most ended up injured or dead.
  • They also had a huge impact on them with architecture. They gave them the idea to build temples for their gods an goddesses. They also gave them the idea for columns that they use on their buildings.
  • THe Greek and Roman alphabet had many things that were alike. They both wrote in all capital letters. In art they often paint in black and red. They also make pottery and have it in their homes.
