- One day while Hugo's father was at his job he noticed a noise. curious, he went to check.
- He was met with smoke and fire. He was engulfed in flames.
- Hugo...
- His last thought was of Hugo.
- He sadly died. Hugo had no idea and was at home with the automation that his father found that year.
- Just waiting, and waiting for his dad to walk through the door.
- he never did though.
- but he saw the door open and his uncle came through he was confused but before he cold say anything
- Why? Why me?
- his uncle said the worst news in the world to Hugo.
- your dads dead, come with me.
- Hugo was in tears.
- the walk to his new house was cold and depressing, the thought of never seeing his father again was really dawning on him now. he's now an orphan and both parents dead.
- what about school? your done with school
- his uncle told him school wasn't going to be Hugo's focus anymore and that helping him would.
- when thwy got to the train station his uncle took his so a smookey steamy place with the sound of faint ticking everywhere
- his uncle went to a clock face and told Hugo this is what he'll do as his new job.
- you'll help me with the clocks.
- he will be in charge of the clocks and will stay here, soon though his uncle just simply left but Hugo stayed.
- but Hugo didn't stop working on the automation
- it was the only thing of his father left, he didn't want to lose it.
- I'll never give up on you.
- so he began to steal.
