- Yeah, Lisa. It does sound like he is hurt. Let's go check on him right away!
- Hey, Alex. Did you hear that? It sounds like Mr. Smith is yelling.
- UHHHH .. I just wanted to use the bathroom
- HELP! He has fallen and can't get up!!
- Oh, no Mr. Smith. Are you okay? Let us help get you up back on your feet.
- Once we get you up and steady, we will help you use the restroom and get you back in bed.
- You are very welcome, Mr. and Mrs. Smith.
- Thank you Lisa and Alex. I guess next time I should ask for some help instead of being independent.
- Now that we've got you steady and you used the restroom, lets get you back in bed.
- Thank you both, so much.
- Here is your call bell, should you need anything from us. Please let us know if you need help getting out of bed.
- I am going to go update Dr. Jenn, just so we can closely monitor you from the fall. Let us know if you need anything, Mr. Smith.
- Oh, goodness. I'm so glad he is okay. Thank you both so much for responding so promptly and providing such exceptional patient care. I will head in to evaluate him now.
- Hi Dr. Jenn! Mr. Smith had quite a fall getting out of his bed to use the restroom. Alex and I got him up and back into bed. We made sure to lower his bed and hand him his call bell, should he need assistance again. His wife is also in the room with him, keeping an eye out. Alex will be updating the chart to note that he is now a fall risk.
