Once upon a time, two brothers named Amoulis and Numitor both wanted to be king, although Numitor was king currently. Numitor was later de-throned by his evil brother. Then, Amoulis banished Princess Silva (Numerators Daughter) to the temple of Mars, the god of war, to be held captive.
Unexpectedly, Princess Sliva fell in love with Mars. Later, the couple has twins sons named Romulus and Remus.
Very Quickly, the news spread about the twins birth and it reached Amoulis, the current king. he immediately sent two of his servants to kidnap the twins and drown them in the river. That night, the two men successfully kidnapped the twins and threw them into the nearby river.
The king's plan didn't go as he hoped because the twins floated downstream instead of drowning. They were found by a curious wolf mile downstream by there screaming and crying. Though she eared people, this mother wolf decided to carry the baby twins back to her den.
The wolf raised Romulus and Remus like they were her own. Over time, the twin boys grew stronger and healthy. Acting like wolves, the twins went out farther and farther each day.
One day, a Shepeard named Faustulus noticed the boys as they were running down a path. He was surprised by there clothing and wolf-like behavior. Then, he followed them back to the wolf den and was amazed to see that they were raised by wolves.
