  • Triston Scott, Grady 16 Williams, Brian
  • Welcome to the Indus Valley!
  • The Indus people lived in in brick homes. Most of our workers lived in small row houses with two rooms. They had statues for gods or goddess
  • Their rooms had stone or dirt floors and had a hearth for cooking. people could also have cooked on the roof. Beds were probably made of wood or brick and softened with straw mattresses, animal skin, wool blankets, and cotton textiles.
  • Malnutrition: lacking nutrients
  • Indus Valley houses had brick walls. It had a flat roof of wooden beams covered with reeds and clay. Some houses had two stories with brick stairs between the level.
  • The high walls gave folks their privacy. Most houses had small bathrooms, with brick floors, drains, and toilets that emptied through clay pipes into the sewers. The street sewers were covered with brick slabs and drained in soak pits.
