Stanley is at school, when a bully decides to throw all of his books and school supplies in the toilet.
While Stanley was walking home from school, carrying all of his wet stuff, a pair of cleats came falling from the over pass and hit Stanley in the head. Stanley picked them up and put them on, then the next thing you know Stanley is being chased by the police.
The police caught up to Stanley and brought him home, when they arrived at his house they came upon posters and relics of the person who the shoes were stolen from, Clyde Livingston "Sweet Feet". They then had enough evidence to charge Stanley with the theft, so they made him go to court.
Stanley went to court and the judge saw it was his first offence, but Clyde Livingston himself had went there and testified, he was not so happy. The judge then gave Stanley a opportunity to pick what his punishment will be, Camp Greenlake or Juvenile Hall, and Stanley replied with "well i never been to camp before".
On Stanley's way to the camp he saw nothing but desert, and was kind of curious on why there was no lake in sight. He arrived at the camp to see a bunch of cabins and people walking around in orange jumpsuits, Stanley hopped off the bus and was greeted by Mr.Sir. Mr.Sir showed Stanley around and introduced him to every body and was settled into a cabin with his group.
The next day he was woken up very early before the sun rose and was put to work, they drove Stanley and the others to a spot in the middle of the dried up lake and was left there to dig a hole until its 5 feet deep and 5 feet wide. They say the first hole is always the hardest but Stanley got through, he got some blisters but it was worth it, and thats how it all began
