  • Thunderstorms and Severe Weather By: Sydney Drobyshewski
  • What is a hurricane?
  • A hurricane is a tropical storm. It's main parts are the eye and eye wall. A hurricane can be measured by a Saffir-Simpson Scale. 
  • What is a Tornado?
  • A tornado is also a severe storm. Tornadoes can be measured using a Fajita scale. 
  • There are other storms that are not as severe such as Blizzards and regular thunderstorms. Usually thunderstorms involve thunder and lightning. 
  • What els is there to know about severe weather?
  • What exactly is a blizzard?
  • A blizzard mainly  when a lot of snow falls from the sky and it is very cold outside. 
  • Thank you for teaching me about thunderstorms.
