Times flies! It's been 8 years since I moved to NYC from China. All the exciting new things - food, variety people from all over the world, Broadway show, museums. I definitely had a culture shock at first but now I consider myself a real New Yorker:) During that time I got an associate degree from BMCC and now I'm working on Bachelor's in Information Technology.
Living in the Big Apple, I had a lot more chances to do variety things such as traveling. I travelled to many cities across the country and to Europe. While traveling I always want to keep in touch with my family. That's why I use variety of computer and phone apps to video chat, send a quick text or email a bunch of pictures and videos. I don't know what I would do without modern technology.
I spend majority of my time right now raising my one year old son. I started as a newbie mom and it was hard at first but now I really enjoy taking care of him. It blows my mind to see someone change on a daily basis. Right now everything we do together are "old school": read book, play toys, walk in the park but soon he will be learning amazing things that technology can do right now.
