Storyboard Text

  • Mrs. Marshall is demonstrating her instructional strategy of "repeated readings" where the student's will repeat and read the same passage over and over again until they can read it with no errors.
  • Samuel, a student with ADHD is causing trouble in the back of the classroom. Mrs. Marshall fears that his behavior might cause a ripple effect and other students will also begin to cause trouble
  • Mrs. Marshall decides the best way to end Samuel's disruptions is to have him come up to the front of the class and read the passage. This is a success as Samuel stops distracting others and no one follows in his footsteps
