  • Stop treating us like trash
  • Stop causing Trouble and go back home.
  • Come on out you lobster scoundrels!
  • Fire if you dare and be damned
  • Do you know who we are
  • The townspeople are going to attack the troops!
  • i will send my men immediately
  • It all started on March 5, 1770, British soldiers and colonists were having a small argument and were furious against each other during a Monday night about 8 o' clock pm.
  • come on out you rascals!
  • hold your fire!
  • The crowd grew bigger, more British soldiers arrived, and the commotion grew larger. Colonists were armed with clubs and snowballs while the soldiers were armed with muskets. Threats were said by the colonists to the British soldiers and the soldiers were ready to fire. Things got out of hand and the situation grew worse.
  • Retreat!
  • As the argument continued, Captain Preston was then informed by the guards that the townspeople were assembling to attack the troops. Captain Preston then decided to send his troops in battle and went to the town himself.
  • I like to see you try

  • I will prove that Captain Preston is not guilty
  • When Captain Preston arrived at the scene, a club was then thrown directly at one of the soldiers, causing a injury on his head. As both the club and the soldier collapsed onto the ground slowly, shots were fired at the colonists. The massacre then took in place.
  • Clubs and snowballs were thrown, muskets firing everywhere, and the smoke of gunpowder was everywhere. Captain Preston was then trying to stop this madness until he was knocked out by a club. Once Captain Preston felled onto the ground, the war continued. After for a while, colonists began to retreat and the gunpowder was clearing. As Captain Preston began to stand up, he saw 5 dead colonists on the ground. 
  • Captain Preston and his troops were then put in court for murder of 5 colonists. Then a person named John Adams decided to defend Captain Preston and his troops for unfair treatment and justice and ended up accomplishing of protecting them. This is the story of the Boston Massacre.
