  • The conflict of this story is between the southerners and northerners.

  • The 13th Amendment was passed on January 31, 1865 it abolished slavery in the United States and its territories, But the conflict was that white southerners didn't agree with this Amendment.
  • Northerners
  • The Jim Crow laws were the southerners solution to the 13th Amendment. It granted southerners to discriminate against African Americans and other races. This end in the 1900's

  • The 13th Amendment effects me today because if it were not made African Americans would be enslaved today. The 13th Amendment effects are Country and without it America would not be the same country it is today.
