  • Ouch! Mmm wait a minute...
  • How did that apple fall down??...
  • I have a theory!
  • Maybe the apple is accelerated, since its velocity changes from zero as it is hanging on the tree and moves toward the ground.
  • That means that something acts on the apple to cause this acceleration. Let's call this "gravity",
  • I am gonna called net force
  • Something is acting on that horse that is causing the acceleration of that carriage...
  • I have another theory
  • The velocity of an object changes when it is subjected to an external force. This defines a force to be equal to change in momentum per change in time.
  • Well i guess that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
  • What if a ball rolling down a hill will continue to roll unless friction or another force stops it.
  • Hmm i want to do an experiment i had in mind a long time ago
  • I will call this inertia. The key point here is that if there is no net force acting on an object then the object will maintain a constant velocity.
