1921 Washington Conference This treaty was signed by the 4 major allied powers; Japan, Great Britain, France and the U.S. in December 1921. They agreed that they would all be consulted in case of a dispute concerning this. They pledged respect for the mandates and colonies of the other nations involved in the Pacific.
1922 Rapallo Treaty The USSR and Germany re-established diplomatic relations. Germany recognised the soviet engorgement, both countries mutually agreed to cancel all debt between them, Germany continued to develop military but in Russia taught Russia about military technology in turn.
1924 The Dawes Plan Was named after the American Charles Dawes who headed the committee. It decided that the USA would lend money to the Wiemar republic in order for it to be better able to pay reparations.
1925 Locarno treaties In this pact Germany accepted its borders as given by the treaty of Versailles. This was met by joy in France and symbolised the hopes for an era of peace and goodwill. This led to Germany joining the League of Nations.
1928 Kellogg-Briand Pact 65 nations agreed not to use force to settle disputes (including Germany). This is also known as the pact of Paris as it was signed there. Didn't declare or state any action if one nation who signed was to declare war
1929 Young Plan Reduced Germany's reparations payments. Set total reparations at $26,350,000,000 to be paid over a period of 58 years.It was adopted by the Allied Powers in 1930 and replaced the Dawes Plan.
