Norkia, Kyler, and I then went to the library to finish our brochure and Kyler made the reddit thread. Before we left for the day we decided what day we would hand them out
I have class at two but I can hand out mine afterwords
I handed out all of my brochures and left some in the cultural center for students to pick up
Would you like a brochure about denuclearization?
That didn't go very well. I think our brochure and that didn't sit well with our audience
I think we used to much Ethos and Logos. If we used more Pathos I think we could have drawn students better
After we handed out our brochures we got together in class and reflected on our project
Yeah, I think we miss judged how important our exigence was to our audience
We then presented our finding to the class, and about how we could have used the tools of Rhetoric better to engage our audience
The final project is a reflection on what we have learned in the class. In the name of honesty the group projects didn't help my learning of rhetoric at all, what did though was the in class lectures and out of class reading. Without these two things my knowledge of rhetoric would not have been expanded in this class
This class served to flush out my knowledge on Rhetorical terms and how to use them. Also it helped me understand how looking at your own arguments this will help make it stronger.
Before this class I had never heard the term Exigence, now I understand that it is a very important aspect of critically looking at research and arguments
