Now add your known concentration solution to the burette and use a pipette and filler to add 25cm^3 off your unknown to the conical flask along with 3-5 drops of Phenolphthalein
Next, keep adding you known concentration solution to the conical flask. When neutralisation occurs a light pink tinge will appear and remain. This is your rough reading.
the burette tap is open it lies vertical!
Now repeat the titration 3 times so ideally your results are within 0.1 cm^3 of each other.
using the average reading of your titres. work out how many moles were in the titre volume and use that to find out how many moles were in the 25cm^3 unknown.
