  • Atmosphere Prior to French Revolution
  • Thats gonna cost halkf my country?!? I'll take two of them!!
  • Formation of the National Assembly
  • We, as the Third Estate, should form our own type of government.
  • Peasant Raid Bastille for Weapons.
  • ATTACK!!! GET THE WEAPONS!
  • Before the French Revolution, King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette Bankrupt the kingdom with lavish spending, after already inheriting debt from the American Revolution. They Decide to raise taxes on the poor, causing poverty and anger.
  • Paris Taken By Rioters
  • The Third estate, who consisted of 80% peasants, formed the national assembly consisting of only the third estate . This is the first deliberate action of the French revolution.
  • Robespierre
  • I am the King of France Now. BOW TO ME!
  • After the king barricades himself in the castle, the peasants raid the bastille for weapons. Having those weapons, they are able to take over the government, and create the Declaration of the Rights of Man.
  • Napoleon Bonaparte Takes Control, Ending French Revolution
  • You will no longer be the tyrant of France!
  • While the Army is off fighting the war against Austria and Prussia, Rioters in Paris take the city by force. They chnge the laws so that all male citizens can vote, and execute King Louis XVI bu the Guillotine.
  • The City is Ours!!!!
  • Robespierre claimed power after this revolt, and began to hunt down and kill anyone who he believed was not loyal to the new government. He was fearful of clergymen, who controlled the church. This was considered his "Reign of Terror."
  • After the Beheading of Robespierre, Napoleon took control of the French Government. This is marked as the last stage of the French, and stared the Reign of Napoleon the French "Emperor".
