1st Defence: Physical and Chemical Barriers (Hockey Players):They are the first line of defence the pathogen will have to get through to enter the body. 2nd Defence: Non-Specific Defences (Security Guards): Macrophage performs phagocytosis on the bacteria in which they swallow the bacteria and display pieces of it to the other cells to look for it

Since the rusty nail broke the first skin barrier resulting in Bob the bacteria to get enter the body
The bacteria has entered the body and it comes across the 2nd line of defence. The macrophage uses phagocytosis to ingest and chemically destroys the bacteria to process and takes the bits and pieces of the bacteria to show the others.
