Feudalism- the social class during the Middle Ages. The Pope was most superior, then the Lord, Guilds, Knights, Peasants then Serfs at the bottom of the system. (left to right)
The Pope is the highest in Feudalism. He is the voice of God to the people. God spoke through him.
The King and the Queen came second to the Pope. The eldest son of the King and Queen will be come the next King in line. Their other sons will be Lords.
The Lord own land and distributes it to the farmers and servants.
The Knights(Knights could also be considered vassals) serve the Lord and fight in Crusades. Vassals provide military serves and paid taxes to the lord.
Serfs are lowest. Servants & Farmers. They work for the lord. Flef = Lord-Vassals-Serf
Guilds made up of merchants (The original Union)
