  • People were Extremely frustrated with the government not listening, not giving the middle class the right to vote, and the economy.
  • So they revolted, burning the throne, and the old government to a crisp.
  • They set up a provisional government in its place while the permanent government was developed.
  • They used universal male suffrage to elect officials to the legislative.
  • They set up workshops to help unemployment, giving the jobless jobs.
  • However came at a cost, and the treasury was empty. With no money left, the government was forced to close the workshops, but this angered the working class. They revolted leading to a mass murder and imprisonment of thousands of middle class.
