This conflict fits that type because the woman from the house (person) screams at Mattie (person) because she was a yellow fever victim. It is stated on page 160 that the woman wants Mattie out of her house "Get back!...No fever victims here!"
This conflict fits that type because Mattie's mom (person) is sick and ill from the fever/disease (nature). It is stated on page 236 that " We tried to keep her in bed, it was clear she was still quite ill."
