  • Introduction
  • In the winter of 1801 Mr. Lockwood arrives in England to rent the Thrushcross Grange which is four miles from Wuthering Heights.
  • Beginning
  • On a gloomy winter day Mr. Lockwood wishes for some company so he travels to Wuthering Heights were the servant Nelly Dean tells him the romance story of Catherine, Edgar Linton, and Heathcliff.
  • Rising Action
  • Edgar Linton and Heathcliff fight for Catherine's love. In the end Catherine chooses Linton because of his money and social credability. This makes Heathcliff extremely mad for the rest of his life.
  • Climax
  • Falling Action
  • Conclusion
  • Catherine later has a daughter named Catherine with Linton before she dies and Heathcliff has a son named Linton with Isabella but like Catherine she also passes away.
  • Linton and Catherine do not meet until they are older. When they meet they automatically fall for each other. Nelly and Edgar do not like this but Heathcliff wants them to marry so he kidnaps Catherine.  During this time a man named Hareton try's to pursue Catherine.
  • In the end Heathcliff passes away and Hearton and Catherine inherit both Wuthering Heights and Thrushcross Grange. The two of them plan to marry in the coming new year.
