  • This is King Minos he does not want Daedalus to go to Athens because he was a great inventor and an architect.
  • The family used many different things to create inventions .They liked that they had every everything they needed. But Isaac didn't remember anything about Athens so they had to escape somehow.
  • So they came up with a plan. They asked for feathers so that they could create a new invention. But they wanted to create wings by conecting the feathers with wax. Then they could fly out of the mansion and go back to Athens
  • When they started flying Daedalus told his son not to fly to high because the wax could melt  and not too low so that the wings would not get wet because of the waves.
  • Although Isaac did not listen he flew to high . His father was yelling so that he comes down , but he was so high that he couldn't hear him  The wax started melting and he started to fall down . He fell with a splash and nobody saw him ever again.
