Thomas talking the lunch room about how high he can jump to his friend matis. so matis decided to challenge Thomas a high contest. Thomas took the challenge and he went to his house to grab a pair of shoes and met Matis on the field.
Matis decided to go first and he cleared 6ft 5inch. Thomas surprisingly cleared 6ft 5inch. Matis ran to coach and told him that he found a awesome high jumper to compete for his school in the champion ships.
Thomas was going against a competitor named Holm. When Holm did his first high jump he had a lot of technique and skill. When Thomas jumped he had no technique and no skill and he just let him self jump and didn't arch his back when needed to.
Holm was passing over 7'3, 7'4, 7'5, and 7'7. While Thomas was making and missing jumps. Holm and Thomas arrived at 7'8. And then Thomas passed 7'8 on his first attempt while his fall was uncomfortable.
Thomas was celebrating because he passed 7ft and 8.5 inches. On Holm's final attempt, he clipped the bar with the back of his legs and fell to the matt with his head in his palms. And then Thomas raised his bar to 8'2, he would have broken the world record.
A scientist named Maska Ishikawa studied Thomas's achilles tendon. Thomas was gifted with a giant achilles tendon. And then Thomas has not improved in the six years since he entered the professional circuit.
